Energy Performance Contract
New Boiler Controllers
As part of the Energy Performance Contract (which is separate from the bond plan), select boilers in the district are being fitted with new boiler controllers, which will save the amount of fuel used.
Additional Insulation at Pulaski Street
As part of the Energy Performance Contract, additional insulation was added to the attic area of the Pulaski Street School.
New Transformers
Energy Efficient Transformers are being installed in several buildings.
High School / Middle School Lighting
The High School and the Middle School have been refitted with energy efficient lamps and ballasts. Classrooms also have occupancy sensors to turn off the lights when the rooms are vacant.
High School Gymnasium Lights
The high school gymnasium lighting from the 1970s has been replaced with T5 high bay lighting fixtures with occupancy sensors.
