IMPLEMENTATION OF THE COMMON CORE STATE STANDARDS
The PRINCIPALS from each building gave a series of presentations on the COMMON CORE STATE STANDARDS in ELA and Math at Board of Ed. meetings in 2014. On March 27, 2014, Sup't. Nancy Carney scheduled a CCSS Forum for Parents to continue the discussion about the implementation of CCSS in our schools. >More Info on the Common Core State Standards

BUILDING REFERENDUM INFORMATION
In October of 2011, the residents of the Riverhead Central School District passed a building bond for work that is essential to the maintenance and perservation of the buildings and grounds. This bond includes: replacing roofs and windows, heating and ventilation upgrades, and additional classroom space were needed. The work on the buildings began in earnest during the summer of 2012.

Click HERE for the corresponding letter that was mailed to introduce it, but don't use the link in the letter to try to access the parent portal! >>IMPORTANT: When entering name, address, telephone number, etc. on the eSchool Portal registration screen, make sure the information you enter matches the information you submitted for your child during school registration (name, address, telephone #, etc.).
