NOTE:  Open session to all meetings will be at approximately 8:00 p.m. at the Riverhead High School auditorium and/or cafetorium and will be preceded by an Executive Session which normally begins at 6:00 p.m. (unless otherwise posted).

Work sessions will be held on the second Tuesday of each month (with the exception of November, December and June). Work sessions are an opportunity for the Board to hear educational presentations as well as to discuss and plan initiatives programs, and policy. It is an opportunity for the public to observe the process; however, the public may not participate in a work session. Work sessions are held in the Riverhead High School unless otherwise noted. (See Board Pamphlet.)

Public sessions will be held on the fourth Tuesday of each month.

IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE that this calendar is open to flexibility.  The Board of Education has the option to schedule additional meetings or cancel others as may be necessary.  Announcements of such will be made accordingly. 

FURTHER, wef ask for your cooperation to submit to central administration all non-personnel items (i.e., bid awards, surplus items, donations, etc.) that need to be on the agenda for Board approval no less than ten (10) days prior to the date of the Board of Education meeting   This timeline must be strictly adhered to.
