Barbara OÕKula, Chairperson, opened the meeting at 9:59 a.m.

 

The following Inspectors of Election were sworn in by Mrs. OÕKula, District Clerk:

 

Dorothy Bascomb (Chief Inspector of Election), Gloria Mehling, Josephine Sideratos and Emily Whitney.

 

The following poll clerks were present:

 

Justyna Breitenbach, Anita Conforti, Ann Engelhardt, Muriel Groneman, Katherine Konkel, Irene Lachick, Frances Mapes, Eloise Parker and Patricia Raynor.

 

Mrs. OÕKula declared the polls open at 10:00 a.m.

 

The following two propositions were voted upon:

 

Proposition I

 

Shall the Board of Education of the Riverhead Central School District, Suffolk County, New York, be authorized to contract for library services with the Riverhead Free Library in the amount of $2,240,967 for the 2005/06 school year and levy a tax therefore in addition to taxes required by the school budget?

 

Proposition II

 

Shall the Board of Education of the Riverhead Central School District, Suffolk County, New York, be authorized to contract for library services with the Baiting Hollow Free Library in the amount of $11,000 for the 2005/06 school year and levy a tax therefore in addition to taxes required by the school budget?

 

At 7:55 p.m., Mrs. OÕKula asked all persons present to cast their vote if they had not already done so.

Mrs. OÕKula declared Propositions I and II as passed.

 

The meeting adjourned at 8:17 p.m.
