Special Meeting – August 17, 2004

District Administration Office

PRESENT: Vice President, Mrs. Nancy G. Gassert; Mrs, Kathleen Berezny; Mr. Timothy Griffing; Mr. Timothy Hubbard; and, Mrs. Christine Prete.

LATE: Mrs. Mary Ellen Harkin.

ABSENT: Mrs. Lori H. Montefusco.

ALSO PRESENT: Dr. Joseph Laria and Mr. Raymond Fell of

Eastern Suffolk BOCES.

Vice President, Mrs. Gassert, opened the meeting at 5:40 p.m. with the pledge of allegiance to the flag.

A motion was made by Mrs. Prete, seconded by Mr. Griffing, to appoint Mrs. Berezny as Clerk pro tem.

Motion Carried.

A motion was made by Mr. Griffing, seconded by Mrs. Prete, to recess to executive session to discuss candidates for Superintendent of Schools.

Yes 5 No 0

Motion Carried.

The Board of Education recessed to executive session at 5:41 p.m.

Mrs. Harkin arrived at 6:02 p.m.

Mr. Fell left at 8:15 p.m.

A motion was made by Mrs. Harkin, seconded by Mr. Griffing, to return to open session.
