Blue
Waves Win "Good Sports" Award
This
Fall, the Athletic Department learned that the Riverhead Blue
Waves were awarded the 2005 Section XI “Good Sports”
Award. Riverhead’s teams scored the highest overall
average of sportsman-ship team points. The teams are rated
by opposing teams and awarded by NYPHSAA.

Principal Chosen
Mr. James J. Mc Caffrey, the first principal of the new Eastport/South
Manor Jr./Sr. High School and the principal at Half Hollow
Hills High School East for 20 years, is the new principal
at RHS.
