Sex Offender Trailers
A "Sex Offender Trailer Forum" WAS held at the RHS Auditorium on Thursday, January 15 concerning the placement of level 2 & 3 homeless sex offenders on the borders of Southampton and Riverhead -- within walking distance of schools, a library and downtown Riverhead. SEE FLYER. There has been ongoing discussion in the community about this situation. It has recently been announced that the "Sex Offender Trailers" program will be disbanded and replaced with a more involved tracking system. (Feb. 6, 2013)
