ROTC Leadership Academy 2008

On July 25th 2008 Riverhead NJROTC had 8 cadets graduate from The AREA FOUR Leadership Academy at the Naval Base in Newport, Rhode Island. 144 Cadets from 52 High Schools were selected to attend. All cadets earned the prestigious Silver Cord. This is two weeks of intensive training designed to prepare cadets to be unit leaders. This is the largest number of cadets Riverhead NJROTC has had graduate from this academy.
