Suffolk Roundup: Riverhead stays unbeaten with
win over Hauppauge

The Riverhead Express just keeps on rolling.
Miguel Maysonet rushed for 164 yards and two touchdowns
on 12 carries as Riverhead beat Hauppauge, 34-7, Saturday.
Maysonet has 1,272 yards and 13 TDs this season for Riverhead
(7-0). Tim Velys completed 5 of 10 passes for 65 yards and
two TDs. He has 13 this season.
Maysonet scored on a 42-yard run five minutes into the first
quarter and scored on a season-best run of 78 yards on the
next possession for Riverhead to help make it 14-0. In the
second quarter, Riverhead scored following a Kevin Curtis
interception. Riverhead got the ball on its 32 and Velys
completed a 26-yard pass to Justin Blass to help make it
21-0. Hauppauge is 5-2.
