(March
10, 2008– Riverhead, NY) Based on her leadership skills demonstrated
at the National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine, Alyssa Rowe has
been personally selected to attend the University Presidential Inaugural
Conference in Washington, DC, celebrating the Inauguration of the President
and Vice President of the United States.
For five days at our nation’s capital, Alyssa will be honored
as a young leader and will participate in activities commemorating the
presidential inauguration and the transition of power. She will take
part in and serve as a personal witness to one of the most historic
and precedent-setting inaugural ceremonies in the history of our nation.
On January 20, 2009, Alyssa will be present for the swearing-in of the
President of the United States. She will experience the inaugural parade
and presidential motorcade on its way to the White House, attend a Black
Tie Gala Inaugural Ball and take part in exclusive events and activities
surrounding this historic occasion.
Taking part in the Inauguration of the President and Vice President
of the United States could very well be the crowning achievement in
Alyssa’s high school education.
