Riverhead
High School
is a comprehensive four-year high school with approximately 1450
students in grades 9-12. There is a teaching and professional staff
of approximately 130.

The
high school is proud to represent the community with a diverse student
population. The school promotes excellence in effort among its students
and is demanding in its curiculum requirements. Course offerings
include 13 Advanced Placement classes as well as other college credit
courses. It offers a Classics and Latin
program, as well
as a full line up of Art,
Drama,
Music,
AP, Honors and College level courses. In addition, the school meets
the diverse extracurricular
needs of its student body. But Riverhead High School also produces
students who have "heart"! Its student body learns to
respect
diversity and has a strong reputation for
community
service.
