Riverhead Free Library

Reminder to parents and students: Free homework tutoring at Riverhead Free Library is scheduled for Thursdays from 3 to 5 p.m. Mark your calendar for the following dates: Oct. 2, 16, 23 and 30, and Nov. 6, 13 and 20. Students in grades 4-12 who reside in the Riverhead Central School District are welcome. Parents are responsible for transportation. Registration is requested, so call 727-3228, ext. 132. The Friends of the Library is sponsoring this worthwhile program and a great big thanks for all they do for the library and community.

North Fork Parents is an educational and family friendly site that can help you and your children enjoy what the North Fork has to offer. Check out their website!
The Dolan DNA Learning Center (DNALC)
is the world's first science center devoted entirely to genetics education
and is an operating unit of Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, an important
center for molecular genetics research. The DNALC extends the Laboratory's
traditional research and postgraduate education mission to the college,
precollege, and public levels. Several educational options are available

WLIW 21
WLIW21 Public Television gives you access to 2,000 instructional video
programs and more than 20,000 video clips. (Ask your school librarian
