MESSAGE CONCERNING ATHLETIC EVENTS --
          From Athletic Director Bill Groth and District Security:

To increase SECURITY at district athletic events --Beginning December 2013 -- Students and adults who attend district sports events will be asked to present identification (student ID, drivers license, etc.), and it is requested that children in grade 8 and below be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

PROJECT FIT AMERICA CONTINUES TO RECEIVE RECOGNITION AWARDS

(August 22, 2014) The official ribbon cutting date for this program was October 2013. RCSD the first district in the state of New York to integrate Project Fit America into their physical education program. >More

Outstanding Athletes and District Awards

Football2013/2014 - RHS ended the season as SUFFOLK CO. DIV. II CHAMPS.
2009 - The Varsity Football Team won the LI Championships.
Girls2011/2012 - The RHS Girls won the 2012 LI CHAMPIONSHIP.
2011/2012 - The Riverhead Blue Waves Track Star MelodeeMelodee Riley won the State Championship in both the Long Jump and the Triple Jump in 2011 and the Triple Jump in 2012!
2009 - State champions in both Crew and Track!
