RIVERHEAD, NY (August, 2004) - This year the drivers, monitors and attendants had their refresher on August 24, 2004. The day started at 8 am and closed at 2:30 pm. The workshops included 5 - 40 min classes which included "Safe Driving Techniques", "Blood borne Pathogens", "Putting together a Good Lt/Rt Sheet", "How to do an Effective Emergency Drill with your Students", "the Impact of Excessive Idling of School Buses".

Mr. McCormick provided breakfast for the group and "Safe Driving Awards" were presented to the following drivers:
