Ladies and Gentlemen:
The Riverhead Central School District is the authorized
agency responsible for setting educational policy in the district.
It consists of seven members. They serve three-year terms.
They support school taxes at the regular rate and receive no salary
or other financial compensation.
The meetings, except for executive sessions, are held before the
public.
The Board of Education of the Riverhead Central School District
will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, March 18, 2003 at 6:00
p.m. at the Riverhead High School auditorium, 700 Harrison Avenue,
Riverhead, New York. The Board will consider executive session
topics after the meeting is opened until approximately 7:30 p.m.
and will then reenter open session at which time the proposed
2003/04 budgets for the Elementary Schools, Athletics, Debt Service
and Employee Benefits will be discussed.
