Ladies and Gentlemen:
 
The Riverhead Central School District is the authorized agency responsible for setting educational policy in the district.  It consists of seven members.  They serve three-year terms.  They support school taxes at the regular rate and receive no salary or other financial compensation.
 
The meetings, except for executive sessions, are held before the public.

 
The Board of Education of the Riverhead Central School District will hold a regular meeting on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 at 6:00 p.m. at the Riverhead High School auditorium, 700 Harrison Avenue, Riverhead, New York.  The Board will consider executive session topics after the meeting is opened until approximately 7:30 p.m. and will then reenter open session

RESOLVED, that the Board of Education of the Riverhead Central School District approves the following change order and authorizes the President of the Board of Education to sign such:

         Project:  Aquebogue Elementary School fields
         Change Order Amount:  $57,532.00 EXTRA
         Description: Clear, grub, finish grading and seed approx. 5 acres
 
          C.    Donations
 
         1.)  RESOLVED, that the Board of Education of the Riverhead Central School District gratefully accepts the donation of $2,055 from the Masonic Lodge #645 of Riverhead for purchase of an AED unit to the Riverhead Central School District.
 
         2.)     RESOLVED, that the Board of Education of the Riverhead Central School District gratefully accepts the donation of $7,000 from Riverhead Townscape for beautification projects available in $1,000 grants to each of the school buildings upon application.
 
         D.    Appointment of Workers for Special District Meeting
 
         RESOLVED, that the Board of Education of the Riverhead Central School District appoints the following persons for the special district meeting of qualified voters on April 29, 2003 for The Riverhead Free Library and Baiting Hollow Free Library budget vote:
 
         Chairperson:  Barbara O’Kula
 
         Inspectors of Election:  Charlotte Elaine Tuthill (Chief Inspector of Election), Dorothy Bascomb, Gloria Mehling, Josephine Sideratos and Emily Whitney.
 
         Poll Clerks:  Alice Ahearn, Justyna Breitenbach, Anita Conforti, Ann Engelhardt, Muriel Groneman, Katherine Konkel, Irene Lachick, Frances Mapes and Eloise Parker.
 
         Alternate:  Patricia Raynor
 
         AND BE IT ALSO RESOLVED, that the rate of compensation for the Poll Clerks and Inspectors of Election be set at $7.00 per hour.
