Response to Intervention Plan (RtI)
What is the RESPONSE TO INTERVENTION PLAN?
Response to Intervention is a school-wide system of organizing instructional support and
resources to meet the diverse needs of learners. RtI is a multi-tiered, problem-solving approach
that integrates assessment and intervention within the three-tiered system to maximize student
achievement. With RtI, schools identify students at risk in reading and math, monitor student
progress, provide evidence-based interventions and adjust those interventions as needed.
