The Riverhead School District is proud of its outstanding
music program and its many opportunities for studying music.

RCSD is proud of the program, its curriculm and its outstanding faculty.

Roanoke music teacher Lisa Talmage has been selected to be included in “Who’s Who in American Education” for 2007-2008. Mrs. Talmage was also selected for this honor for 1996-1997. She started teaching flute at the age of 16 and has been teaching ever since! Even when she was attending college at “New England Conservatory” in Boston, she was commuting to Foxboro, MA twice a week to teach students after school. She has been teaching in Riverhead since February 1991 and has taught every grade level.
