Principal's Message
September 2009
Dear Parents and Guardians,
I would like to welcome all our 5th grade parents and guardians to Pulaski Street School and would like to welcome back all of our 6th grade parents and guardians. As the 2009-2010 school year begins, I will begin my seventh year as the Principal of Pulaski Street School. Throughout the past six years, I have witnessed tremendous growth and achievement in our academic profile, especially noted in the curriculum areas of literacy and math. Our state assessment scores for the 2008-2009 school year in English Language Arts and Math were reflective of the hard work and dedication put forth everyday by the students, faculty, and staff at Pulaski Street School. I look forward to continuing our efforts in this area as we bring your children on an educational journey each and every day at Pulaski Street School.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please free to contact myself or our Assistant Principal, Alison Conroy. I look forward to seeing all of you as we continue to move forward with the school year. As a reminder, I encourage all of you to attend our monthly PTO meetings. This is an excellent opportunity to become involved in your child’s education at Pulaski Street School. Our first meeting will be held on Monday, October 5th at 7:00 pm in our school library. In addition, the Pulaski Street School Back- to-School Night will be held on Wednesday, September 30th at 7:00 pm. I hope to see all of you there as we continue to partner together to insure your child’s success at Pulaski Street School.
