The Harlem Wizards basketball phenomenon is returning to Riverhead this year, and that’s good news for local businesses who want visibility among a centralized community audience. Last year’s event drew 1,100 spectators, and organizers project a packed house again on November 19th. >More about sponsorships
Ticket sales open on October 15th online at www.harlemwizards.com and locally at both Duffy’s Deli locations. Tickets are $10/students and $12/general admission in advance and $12/students and $15/general admission at the door, if available. Twenty-five courtside tickets will be available for $25 exclusively at Duffy’s Deli, and those include a meet-and-greet with the Harlem Wizards before the game.

THE RIVERHEAD NO DOUBT WORLD FAMOUS MONDAY NIGHT BAND
Presents it Annual November Concert: Salute to the Troops
The No Doubt World Famous Monday Night Band, operating with the Riverhead School District and directed by John Eyre, invites you to attend its first concert of the 2014-1015 season on Sunday, November 9 in the Howard Hovey Auditorium at the Pulaski Street School, Riverhead, at 2:00PM. The program includes favorite marches and American music to salute our troops, as well as symphonic works and Broadway selections. Featured pieces are Leonard Bernstein’s Overture to Candide, Highlights from the Broadway hit Mame, and “Rag” from Robert Russell Bennett’s Suite of Old American Dances. The concert begins at 2:00 p.m.
Admission is free, but donations are gratefully received. The school is handicapped accessible.

SPECIAL OLYMPICS BOWLING TEAM
The Special Olympics is happy to partner with The All Star in announcing the formation of a Special Olympics bowling team that is stationed in Riverhead, NY! The team will practice every Monday evening from 5:00-6:30 at the All Star, located at 98 Main Rd. Riverhead, NY 11901.
3rd Annual Transition Fair--
Wednesday Oct. 22nd, 6:30-8pm in HS Cafeteria.
Over 65 agencies have been invited to attend this event. Parents and families living on the East End have been invited to attend to become better informed of services available for post secondary planning.
