Dear Parents and Guardians,
Even in the face of these difficult financial times, we have much to celebrate! In the recent Latin Certamen, Riverhead students took five of a possible 12 awards, more than any other participating school. For the second year in a row Aquebogue placed among the top three schools in the regional Odyssey of the Mind competition by taking third place. We also commend the Blue Masques for an outstanding performance in Les Miserables. As you have visited our programs, you have seen our Latin students participate in a Roman Banquet, attended storytelling activities at all of our elementary schools, and witnessed the excitement of our athletic programs. As this is being written, college acceptances are being sent to our seniors. Although all of our schools are in good standing and have met the NY State standards for “Annual Yearly Progress” (AYP), we remain committed to helping our students reach higher with more rigorous academic standards.
