The Riverhead High School Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps had the distinction of being inspected by Cmdr. Jimmie Miller, manager of Area Four, during a ceremony at the high school on Dec. 7.

Miller examined the uniforms of 116 Riverhead cadets and tested their NJROTC knowledge. Following the biannual inspection, the cadets, led by Cadet Lt.  Cmdr. Michael Daniel, executed a military ceremony, and the cadet color guard and drill teams performed. The ceremony culminated with a pass-in review parade accompanied by the Riverhead High School Wind Ensemble.

The Riverhead Central School District congratulates the NJROTC for continuing to be one of the top units in NJROTC Area Four.    #ThisIsRiverhead
