An Inspiring Author Visit

January 6, 2021

Pulaski Street Elementary School students were recently treated to a virtual visit from author Beth Anderson.

Anderson, an educator and the author of “An Inconvenient Alphabet,” “Lizzie Demands a Seat” and “Smelly Kelly and His Super Senses,” spoke to the students about her writing process. She showed them how she uses photographs, Post-it notes and research papers to create and complete her books.

“This visit inspired many students to start writing their ideas and creating their own stories,” said Amelia Estevez Creedon, library media specialist. “It was informative and engaging.”
