Aquebogue Elementary School ‘Has a Dream’

Aquebogue Elementary School classes engaged in an array of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day activities as they celebrated Dr. King’s life, legacy, and his messages of inclusivity and unity. Students used learning tools—including Nearpod, Unique Learning System, and BrainPOP—to study Dr. King and listen to his iconic “I Have a Dream” speech. They then engaged in exploratory research and creative art and writing projects that promoted peace and equality and conveyed their own dreams for the world.
