Aquebogue Videos Highlight Women’s History Month

Aquebogue Elementary School excitedly celebrated Women’s History Month in March with videos for students, families and the community to enjoy. The school’s fourth grade girls recorded their recitation of excerpts from National Youth Poet Laureate Amanda Gorman’s “The Hill We Climb.” In addition, Aquebogue Elementary School Assistant Principal Gary Karlson created a read aloud and family discussion video for Julia Finely Mosca’s book The Girl Who Thought in Pictures: The Story of Dr. Temple Grandin, particularly highlighting the contributions of female scientists in anticipation for the upcoming science fair.
