Riverhead High School students in Matthew Griffith’s Marketing class have worked hard this year to develop a schoolwide digital news program called the “Blue Waves News” which delivers engaging news from across the building.
The dedicated student team with support from Building Principal Mr. O’Hara and Assistant Principal and Director of Business Ms. Taylor have built a team that executes all aspects of a news production, from a film crew to news anchors and field reporters. Students arrange news packages to report on school sports, highlight teachers and programs and conduct interviews to bring the students and staff of Riverhead High School the latest news.
