Where do I vote?
Residents will vote at the elementary school a child living in their home would attend:
Riley Ave. School 374 Riley Ave., Calverton
Aquebogue School 499 Main Rd., Aquebogue
Roanoke Ave. School 549 Roanoke Avenue, Riverhead
Phillips Ave. School 141 Phillips Ave., Riverhead

Who is eligible to vote?
Only persons who meet the criteria outlined below and are registered as of May 15, 2018 shall be permitted to vote in the May 15, 2018 Budget vote and Board of Education elections. A qualified voter is: (1) a citizen of the United States; (2) 18 years of age or older; (3) a resident of the Riverhead Central School District for 30 days or more before the vote.
How do I register?
Qualified persons who have not previously registered to vote may register to vote at the District Clerk's office located at 700 Osborn Avenue, Riverhead, between the hours of 8:15 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. on any school day, up to and including May 2, 2018. Remember if you are not registered, you cannot vote on May 15. If you are not sure if you are registered, please call 631-369-4724.
What is an absentee ballot?
Absentee ballots allow qualified district voters to participate in the school budget vote and election of board members if they are unable to vote in person due to illness or physical disability, hospitalization, incarceration, travel outside the voter’s county or city of residence for employment or business reasons, studies, or vacation on the day of the election. Application may be made for a ballot at the Office of the District Clerk and must be received by May 9, 2018 if the ballot is to be mailed to the voter, or by May 14, 2018 if the ballot is to be delivered personally to the voter. If the ballot is to be delivered personally to the voter, applications must be received by the district clerk by Monday, May 14, 2018. All absentee ballots must be received by the District Clerk no later than 5:00 P.M. on May 15, 2018. The application form for an absentee ballot can be downloaded from the district's website at www. riverhead.net. What if I have a question on the budget?
A complete copy of the proposed Riverhead Central School District budget will be available for inspection in the District Office, located at 700 Osborn Avenue. Reference copies will be available for inspection at all district schools, and The Riverhead Free Library.
Who's running for the Board of Education?
All paperwork to run for the Board of Education must be presented to the District Clerk by 5:00PM on April 16, 2018.
