Dianne (Collins) Vieira
Dianne graduated from RHS in 1976 and is currently the Finance Director for the Shinnecock Nation. She is grateful to the teachers and faculty of Riverhead High School during the years of 1972-1976 as well as to all of her wonderful classmates that walked the journey with her. Dianne encourages our current students to “Embrace and enjoy your High School days. Your experiences during these four years will become some of your most treasured memories.”
Terry graduated from RHS in 1978. She attended SUNY Cortland and LIU Southampton with a major in elementary education and is currently a fourth grade teacher at Riley Avenue School. She is a mom of seven, all Riverhead grads! Her message for the Class of 2021 is to “live in the moment, work hard and cherish the time you have with family and friends.”
Jim graduated from RHS in 1978 and entered the workforce. He retired from the Riverhead Police Department and also served as a Riverhead Town Councilman. Currently, Jim is an assistant funeral director at a local funeral home. Jim’s fondest memories from Riverhead High School included participating in NJROTC and the music program. He advises our students to “focus and strive to enter a field you enjoy; time goes by quickly.”
Edwin graduated from RHS in 2010 and attended college at SUNY Cortland where he majored in Physical Education. He is currently a Physical Education teacher at Phillips Avenue School and also coaches in the District. His fondest memory from high school is winning the Suffolk County Football championship. Edwin would like to thank all of his coaches who pushed him to be the best that he could be. He also shared, “I would like to thank Ms. Volcy who didn't give up on me and knew that I had potential to make a difference.”
