Four Riverhead Cross Country Runners Earn Spots on All-Time Record Board

Four Riverhead High School cross country runners achieved exceptional times at the Sunken Meadows 4K course to earn them spots on the school’s all-time cross country record board! Christopher Jones, who recently broke the school’s 5K record, ran a 12:48.81 4K to break the school’s previous boys record by almost a minute. Sean Rowland ran a 13:32.28, beating the second-place all-time performance, and Victor Giron ran a 13:40.14, surpassing the third-place all-time performance. Julia Chycherska ran a 16:50.00, beating the girls third-place performance by well over a minute. The Riverhead Central School District congratulates Christopher, Sean, Victor, and Julia for their remarkable accomplishments and is proud to support their pursuits of athletic and academic excellence!
