Historic Perfection on the Mound for Matthew Zambriski

Riverhead High School sophomore Matthew Zambriski etched his name in the record books as he became the first baseball player in school history to pitch a perfect game. The Blue Waves claimed a 22-0 victory over Central Islip High School, and Matthew threw 75 pitches, 65 of which were strikes, and recorded 16 strikeouts. Congratulations to Matthew on this monumental achievement and to the entire team for contributing to this historic win!
