Last week the Riverhead CAP Program returned to Pulaski Street School where community volunteers joined the eighth grade and high school peer leaders to teach the Too Good for Drugs program to the fifth and sixth grade students.

The program focuses on helping students set goals, learn decision-making skills, develop effective communication skills, understand the importance of healthy friendships, manage peer pressure situations and learn about the risks associated with alcohol use, nicotine and marijuana.
