PUBLIC NOTICE
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, the Riverhead Central School District’s Board of Education will hold an ANNUAL REORGANIZATIONAL MEETING on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. in the Riverhead Middle School, Cafetorium, 600 Harrison Avenue, Riverhead, New York. After the meeting is opened to the public, the Board of Education will immediately recess into Executive Session to discuss topics in accordance with the Open Meetings Law §105 (f).
THE REGULAR BUSINESS MEETING OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION WILL BEGIN APPROXIMATELY 7:00 p.m. in the Riverhead Middle School Cafetorium, 600 Harrison Avenue, Riverhead, New York.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, in accordance with Commissioner’s Regulations §155.17(c)(3) and New York State Education Law §2801-a, that the Board of Education of the Riverhead Central School District will hold a Public Hearing on the proposed District-Wide Safety Plan at its Regular Meeting to be held on July 1, 2026, at approximately 7:00 p.m., in the Riverhead Middle School Cafetorium, 600 Harrison Avenue, Riverhead, New York.
The proposed District-Wide Safety Plan is available for public review for a thirty (30) day comment period and is posted on the District’s website. It is anticipated that it will be adopted at the August 27, 2026 Board of Education meeting.
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Education of the Riverhead Central School District will conduct a Public Hearing on proposed revisions to the District Code of Conduct at its Regular Meeting to be held on July 1, 2026 at approximately 7:00 p.m. The purpose of the hearing is to receive comments from school personnel, parents, students, and other interested parties concerning the proposed revisions. Copies of the proposed Code of Conduct are available in the District Clerk’s Office and on the District website beginning July 1, 2026. It is anticipated that it will be adopted at the August 27, 2026 Board of Education meeting.
