Dear Members of the Class of 2023,
Soon our local sponsors will begin making available scholarships to the RHS students of the Class of 2023. Scholarship applications will be posted on this webpage as we receive them. Any students interested in applying for a scholarship can start the application process now.
Seniors, you should have received our Local Scholarship Application in your Senior packet that was mailed home in September. The application is also available below. Although it seems as if it is a long time away, the Local Scholarship Application deadline of March 10, 2023 will be here sooner than we know and it is best to get this process completed as soon as possible. This application is offered to all sponsors to use as it acts as a universal application for Riverhead students. Once a student completes the Local Application, they must turn it in to their Guidance Counselor. Once submitted, the student will be included as a candidate for all local scholarships they are qualified for, whose sponsors use our Local Application. Remember, not all sponsors use our Local Application. Some sponsors prefer to use their own applications. In such cases interested students must complete the individual application provided by each sponsor that they are requiring.
In order to be considered for any local scholarship a student must complete the application by the established deadline and submit it accordingly. If the student qualifies, they are then a candidate for the scholarship. Please keep in mind that although we try to get all local sponsors to use our Local Application, they are under no obligation to do so. If the student has a question about a local sponsor, they should contact the Guidance Office.
If you need a transcript for a scholarship application, please email your Guidance Counselor and they will provide it to you. We will continue to keep you informed of any and all information as soon as it comes available. If you have any specific questions, please do not hesitate to email or call your Guidance Counselor.
