Riverhead High School Empty Bowls Fundraiser Successfully Brings Community Together and Supports Local Food Pantries

Riverhead High School’s semi-annual Empty Bowls fundraiser was a resounding success, raising $1,500 to help community members. The event was organized by ceramics students and cooking club members, under the guidance of teachers Selena Pagliarulo and Roberta MacGray. Attendees had the opportunity to purchase magnificent hand-crafted ceramic bowls made by our art students, as well as delicious soups made by the cooking club.

Our students proudly presented donation checks to two local food pantries, Living Water Church and Church of the Harvest.
