Riverhead High School Freshmen Clean Up Local Beaches

A group of 112 Riverhead High School Freshman Seminar students gave back to their community with a beach cleanup at the Peconic Riverfront Park and Iron Pier Beach. They filled over 20 garbage bags with waste left on the beach! In addition, they had a lovely day in the sun, gaining an appreciation for the wonder their community has to offer and spending time with their peers outside of class.
