Riverhead NJROTC Explore Washington D.C.

The Riverhead High School NJROTC visited Washington D.C. this past spring for an immersive learning experience. They stayed on Joint Base Andrews, a United States military facility under the jurisdiction of the Air Force. They explored the runways for the aircrafts with the call signs Marine One and Air Force One, the base’s fire-fighting station, Arlington National Cemetery and other impactful sites in our nation’s capital.
