Riverhead Students Augment Post-Graduation Opportunities at LILTA Conference

Riverhead High School students recently enhanced their post-graduation opportunities by attending the Long Island Latino Teachers Association’s (LILTA) inaugural East End Men’s Conference. LILTA’s core mission is to increase graduation rates and help students pursue college programs and careers matching their passions. This mission aligns with the Riverhead Central School District’s goal to provide engaging and transformational educational experiences that expand students’ post-graduation paths.

Students heard from successful professionals in the fields of education, law, science, technology, business, medicine, social work, politics, arts, and sports. Panels were provided in English and Spanish, amplifying inclusion for English language learners.
