The Riverhead High School college-level Digital Generation course visited Stony Brook University for the Digital Generation competition on Jan. 25 to present their final projects. Students Alex Carter and Eric Hernandez were recognized for their outstanding performances.
Alex was awarded MVP of his group for going above and beyond expectations and for being the best overall presenter. Eric and his group were recognized for having the best overall project.
Students worked collaboratively on their projects with high school students from Bay Shore, Connetquot, Deer Park, Northport, Smithtown East and West and Westhampton Beach. Students had the option of choosing from over 20 digital technology topics, such as online education, the positives and negatives of social media and the future of travel.
