Riverhead High School students participated in activities surrounding P.S. I Love You Day on Feb. 12.
Spearheaded by the school’s guidance department, students learned about the meaning of the day; wore purple to stand up against bullying, help end depression and prevent suicide; and added to a “Tree of Inspiration” by sharing inspirational quotes and words that resonate positivity, hope and acceptance.
Freshman Logan Kramer assisted in the effort by making 50 “P.S. I Love You” shirts for staff and peers.
P.S. I Love You Day, now in its 12th year, aims to raise awareness about bullying and suicide while promoting kindness.
