Riverhead High School seniors Nathaniel Bollermann (Cello), Lauren Enos (Bb Clarinet and Bass Clarinet), William Green (Percussion) and Ethan Lucas (Voice) have been selected to perform at the prestigious New York State School Music Association All-State Festival, to be held virtually Dec. 3-5. Will Green was also selected as an alternate on drum set for the jazz ensemble.
Prior to the selection process, students were evaluated on many different aspects of their musicianship, among a pool of candidates from across New York State. After a rigorous selection process, our Riverhead students will now be participating in All-State ensembles for the second consecutive year and in principal roles.
“This is an amazing accomplishment and is a direct reflection of their work ethic and the work our Riverhead music teachers have done with these students since they have started," said Jason Rottkamp, director of fine arts.
The Riverhead Central School District congratulates each of these students on their musical accomplishments.
