Student Trip to Quebec City

April 1, 2020

Members of the French Club at Riverhead Middle School tested their knowledge of the French language during a four-day trip to Quebec City from March 5-8.

The trip gave the 75 students an opportunity to practice their French language skills as they explored the culture of Quebec City, toured an ice hotel, visited a tubing park and learned how to drive their own dog sled. The students also visited a Canadian maple sugar shack.

“This was a great opportunity for our students to view French Canadian culture, food and language,” said middle school French teacher Betsy Ruotolo.

This is the 21st year that the school has provided the student trip to Quebec City.
