Students Explore the Magic of STEAM at the Long Island Maker Faire

Riverhead Middle School and Pulaski Street Intermediate School students enjoyed the wonders of science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics (STEAM) learning at the Long Island Maker Faire in Port Jefferson. Maker Faire is a global movement celebrating creativity, innovation, and STEAM, with events taking place across the globe. The Long Island Explorium sponsored Long Island’s Maker Faire and welcomed over 2,000 eager participants. Riverhead students engaged in hands-on activities and learned about the exciting STEAM research being conducted at local colleges.
