Dear Blue Waves Community,
It has been just three days since the unthinkable happened to the Farmingdale community, but for those directly impacted, it has been an eternity of grief and unimaginable loss. While our thoughts and prayers remain with those students and families touched by this tragedy, we want to do more. On Tuesday, students and staff at school districts across Long Island will be wearing green in recognition of the strength and heart of the Farmingdale community in the face of such sorrow. I am asking each Blue Waves student and staff member to join with me on Tuesday and wear green. On this day, we will all be “Daler strong,” united in our support of the Farmingdale School District family.
