Dear Blue Waves Community,
As we approach Thanksgiving, I would like to take this opportunity to extend heartfelt wishes to every member of the Riverhead Central School District community. Thanksgiving provides a meaningful opportunity for us to reflect and acknowledge the joys and connections in our lives and community. I would like to thank our magnificent students, Board of Education, administrators, faculty, staff, families, and community members for making Riverhead such a special place.
The collaboration of our district community makes the remarkable growth and success of our students possible. From academic excellence to artistic and athletic achievements to expanded collegiate and career opportunities, there is a great deal to celebrate.
I encourage us to take this time to recognize the positive contributions around us and experience the transformative power of gratitude. May we continue to engage in this thankful spirit as we enter the holiday season. In addition to engaging with our families and community, let us reach out to those who may feel alone, isolated, or forgotten and practice compassion.
