Blue Waves Remain Undefeated

RIVERHEAD, NEW YORK (OCTOBER 2026)—For the first time in 13 years, the Riverhead High School boys cross country team has captured the league championship. Throughout this season, the Blue Waves remained dominant and undefeated.

While this is the team’s first league championship in over a decade, the Riverhead High School cross country program has cultivated exceptional talent in recent years, with numerous record-breaking performances and all-league honors.

“Our student-athletes work diligently to represent Riverhead with pride,” Coach Lobenhofer said. “We thank the entire school community for its continued support of our team.”
